Welcome to Huntertown – A Learning Community
The mission of Huntertown Elementary School is to facilitate the development of each student's intellect, character, and physical and mental health. We aspire to help each student to become a productive, responsible citizen.
Huntertown Elementary is committed to providing a positive learning environment for our students and families. As principal of Huntertown, I am consistently impressed and proud of all our students, staff and parents. Our goal is to prepare students with vital knowledge and skills they will need to be successful, while at the same time encouraging creativity, curiosity, and a life-long appreciation for learning.
The dedicated staff at Huntertown Elementary provides a high quality curriculum based on the Common Core national standards. We believe that all students can achieve success through a supportive, nurturing and rigorous academic environment. The staff supports the students so they can discover their passion for learning along with encouraging them to become responsible leaders.
Huntertown is a unique place and all that come through our doors feel how truly special our learning community is. I look forward to the continued student learning and the many smiles in the years to come. Feel free to stop in and be part of our learning environment.
